Vanaja Castle update

We had the charity golf afternoon and gala on the 31st of July in beautiful Vanaja Castle. Thanks Pekka and Mika for making this happen! 

We had less participants than anticipated, but the day was great. The feeling was warm and relaxed, and I would really count this as a super successful day. Also big big thanks for Taru who hosted us during award ceremony and gala dinner.

Some observations from the game - of course my biggest disappointment was that I lost longest drive to Reijo :-). Also, after 2 months total hot and sunny weather, we got totally wet during first 2 runs. Luckily www.viinitkotiin.com was hosting us during the way with champagne and other beverages, so this helped recovering and actually rest of the day was sunny. Btw, viinitkotiin.com has promised to donate 50cnts per bought bottle to KAPUA, pls refer to that if you order wines/champagne from there or come to winetastings in capital area.

After the game we prepared for the gala, and this was a pleasant occasion as well. Food and service were excellent, people lively and we ended up in Vanaja Castle pub and disco at the end. Taru and myself also updated people with a bit of KAPUA knowledge, showed videos etc.

Hope we can do this again with next KAPUA project, just to change the timing a bit so we will get many more people with us. Anyhow we gained around 1000e to KAPUA.
